Thompson, CT USA - During the year 2005, Numa
will be celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary. For 20 years, Numa has
been designing and manufacturing world-class down hole hammers and bits
for the water well, quarry, mining, oil & gas, construction,
foundation and horizontal drilling industries around the globe.
Since the purchase by new owners in 1985, Numa has risen to be the
leader in the DTH industry by developing a wide range of hammers and bits
for vertical, horizontal, reverse circulation and specialty drilling in
medium to hard rock conditions. Their innovative approach has produced
over fifty different hammer models for drilling holes 3-1/2 to 48 inches
(89 – 1219 mm) in diameter. Many of their trademarks are well known around
the industry including the Patriot®, Champion®, Challenger®, Super Jaws®,
Numa Lube and the Impact Ring Bit System®.

Numa now
owns eleven different patents and continues to design innovative products
that will revolutionize the drilling industry. Numa president Ralph H.
