DATC INDIA PVT. LTD.

Former  Drill Tools INDIA Pvt. Ltd. was established in in APRIL 2005  AT AHMEDNAGAR ( MAHARASHTRA) to manufacture  Integral  Drill  Steel  Rods  used in quarries & mines.
On 9th MAY 2006 ---  JV agreement with Technical & Financial Collaboration was signed with DATC – GROUP , FRANCE & company’s name was  changed  to DATC ( INDIA ) PVT. LTD. The parent Company DATC-GROUP took controlling shares of 51%.

DATC-GROUP  FRANCE
Company established in Switzerlend in 1974 to manufacture – Diamond & Tungsten Carbide Bits for Mining & Geotechnical Exploration. Company moved to France to be part of EU in  1994 & added Corebarrels & accessories in anufacturing. Also company became dealer for various accessories to become “ ONE STOP SHOP FOR DRILLING “.

 DATC INDIA PVT. LTD. 
Started manufacturing of  Metric series Corebarrels, Head assemblies & components in 2006.– Initially products were exported to DATC GROUP-France to ensure that  Quality is at par. In 2007 company started manufacturing of Extension rods , Couplings & components for Wireline Corebarrels. The Company  imported Special CNC lathe to manufacture Casings / Wireline Drill Rods. In 2008 company established facility  for manufacturing Diamond Bits ( surface Set & Impregneted varieties). For one year Bits were exported to parent company & the quality was identical with bits manufactured in France.
In March 2009 There was change in Indian  Management & Mr. Sharad Vaidya joined the company as CEO.  Based on feedback from DATC GROUP, From 2009 April  the company started focusing On Core Drilling Product Market in INDIA.

Diamond Bits – Impregneted & Surface Set / Diamond Reaming Shells/ Casing Shoes & Casing Bits. With 9 grades of Matrix and various profiles to choose depending on Rock Strata.                             
Corebarrels – Wireline & Metric series— Double tube / Triple TubeComplete range with overshots .
Accessories – Hoisting Swivels & Plugs / Water  Swivels / Full Grip Wrenches.
Casing Pipes – “ W “ & “ X” series
Drill Rods – “WL” & “ W” series, CR42 & CR50 in 3 grades.—
Accessories in SIMCAS System

DATC INDIA IS MANUFACTURING ALL ABOVE PRODUCTS  & IS REGULARLY SUPPLYING TO DATC EUROPE SINCE MAY 2006 & exporting to Australia , Chilie , Zambia
