Atlas Copco incorporates two new subsidiary cos

Atlas Copco India, a part of Swedish multinational Atlas Copco Q,N,C,F*AB has announced that the company has picked up the pending 75% stake in Prisma  Roctools (P) and Focus Rocbit (P) and has incorporated them as 100% subsidiaries of the company.

Prisma is engaged in manufacture and sale of DTH hammers and bits and other complementary products and services for Rotary and down-the-hole (DTH) drilling segment. Focus on the other hand is engaged in manufacture and sale of rotary bits and complementary products and services for the surface mining segment.

Shares of Atlas Copco India gained Rs 7.1, or 1.55%, to trade at Rs 465. The total volume of shares traded was 1,837 at the BSE (2.45 p.m., Wednesday).
