MUMBAI: Atlas Copco India Ltd has informed the BSE that the company had acquired 25% shares in Prisma Roctools Pvt. Ltd. (Prisma) and Focus Rocbit Pvt. Ltd. (Focus) in April, 2008.
The company has completed the acquisition of balance 75% of shareholding of Prisma and Focus. With this acquisition both the companies have become 100% subsidiaries of the company.
Prisma is engaged in manufacture and sale of DTH Hammers and Bits and other complementary products and services for Rotary and down-the-hole (DTH) drilling segment and Focus is engaged in manufacture and sale of Rotary Bits and complementary products and services for the surface mining segment.
